Project to work on, fellow’s role in the project, preferred skills: Need to be organized, flexible, dynamic and email savvy. Would focus on a specific project, chosen by the team. The project would most likely involve album promotion strategies.

Maetka – Riitta Huttunen

DEX
Introduction of the company or institute: DEX, March 2-3, 2020 (working for the event’s producer Eastaste Music Ltd. )
For two days next March, Budapest will become the songwriter’s capital. The DEX – Songwriting Expo is an event where creators can inspire, learn, and make new connections. Participants have their choice of an expanded set of programs that provide access to the professional secrets and best practices of Hungarian and international songwriters and musical professionals through lectures, workshops and individual consultations. DEX is also a conference and meeting point to help the work of the region’s composers intentionally, provide opportunities for professional development, build community, and help the creation of a network of professional studios and creators.

Introduction of the person to work with: You will need to work with the project lead on a daily basis, who takes care of your tasks and actual roles in the team of DEX organisers (a team of 8 people).

Event coordination – coordination of professional partners, guest logistics, data and people management skills, basics in Excel/Google Sheets.
