World Pitch Workshops

The first World Pitch workshop takes place at WOMEX19, in Tampere, where you’ll get an insider’s view of the biggest professional world music event.

The third module of the program is hosted by Veszprém, the picturesque county seat north of Lake Balaton, and  proud holder of the European Capital of Culture Title 2023. You can get a glimpse behind the scenes, meet the team prearing the programme, and get involved in numerous music related projects the city will host.

The closing event held in Brussels in April 2020, and will coincide with Balkan Traffik festival. Accompanying professional events will provide great exposure to your presentation and agenda.

Founder and CEO of Hangvető, organizer of Budapest Ritmo and hosts of WOMEX in Budapest in 2015. Musicologist and musician, member of Tükrös ensemble since 1994 (double-bass). Connected to Hungarian folk music and the Táncház Movement since childhood. Active as publisher and event organizer in the folk and world music scene since 2001.
